Description
Closer is an action boss fight game where you fight an awakened black hole that breathes strongly, pulling and pushing you within the arena. Collect stars and attack the black hole to calm it down!
💡 Friendly Reminder: If you think you're stuck on the main menu, it's because you need to charge and attack the black hole to start the game:
Controls (Keyboard + Mouse)
- [A] and [D] - Horizontal Movement
- [SPACE] - Jump
- [LEFT-CLICK HOLD] - Charge
- [LEFT-CLICK RELEASE] - Dash / Attack (full charge)

Very cool idea. I understood pretty fast that I had to charge up the menu to start. But it didn't click that I was fighting the black hole until later on. I spawned in and thought that I was supposed to collect all the stars before the timer ended. Another thing that felt frustrating was that I didn't know if I should prepare for the push outward or inwards. Would be cool with some visuals before the force comes in.
Other than that the game felt well made and it didn't break or anything. Cool aesthetics. Good job!
Hey Ellatuss, thanks so much for the feedback! Indeed, some anticipation sfx/animation for the black hole's inhale or exhale would be very nice thing to add :D
unsure of how to start the game at first, i think the instructions or menu screen should be a bit more clear. overall chill game, just feel like theres no guidance whatsoever.
